Remington Announces EOTAC Joint Venture
New Entrant into Tactical Clothing Market

Madison, NC, September 18, 2008 - Remington Arms Company, Inc. announced today that it has teamed with Fernando Coelho, long involved in the firearms, ammunition, and tactical clothing communities, to enter the rapidly growing market for tactical apparel.

The new company – EOTAC (http://www.eotac.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), will be tapping into decades of experience in the military, law enforcement, and private security sector by both Mr. Coelho and Remington’s family of companies, to design and produce, the finest line of tactical and discreet clothing.

“EOTAC’s approach to apparel design is to offer a balance between innovation and price point. By merging outdoor industry techniques with tactical user based input and world class materials, EOTAC will offer both traditional tactical clothing and the next generation in tactical clothing” said Fernando Coelho, President of EOTAC.

Based in West Columbia, South Carolina, EOTAC has entered the market with its Operator Grade™ line of apparel. The line focuses on providing purpose-designed solutions to law enforcement, military, private security, and Fire/EMT, looking for purpose-built clothing that covers both tactical and discreet wear.

“On a daily basis, Remington, and our sister companies- Bushmaster and DPMS, interact with operators all over the world when seeking to address their needs with our firearms and ammunition solutions. This constant interaction with the global tactical community, puts us in a position to provide a constant stream of feedback and ideas to EOTAC’s design team, leverage our industry expertise and relationships, and support EOTAC in developing and supplying, the finest tactical and discreet clothing available” - said E. Scott Blackwell, President of Global Sales and Marketing for Remington and Vice President of EOTAC.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That's a big feather in the boss' cap, and I hope is the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship.

First camo that is coming out is Lizzard Pattern. Expect to see it in our Field Jacket shortly. I just saw the pattern at our factory and it looks great! A near perfect match to the original.

Rhodesian is on the short list of retro patterns we are considering. We want to see how well received the Lizard Pattern is before going forward with more versions.

Will be interested to see these firsthand but please do consider short inseam trousers.
Just got a pair of 5.11 HRT's in a short inseam and they frankly will be hard to beat. Best trousers I own.
I paid well over what I wanted to but they were the only non BDU/ACU tac. pants I could find offered in a short inseam. I tried and sent back 3 different brands because they just didn't fit well even if I'd have altered them (pockets to low on the leg, baggy seat)

I am really glad to see the wide selection of Glove Sizes. Too many brands have just S-M-L but you have a fantastic selection.

The CCS Ring looks useful too.

Now where do we find them and How much money?
