After teaching on military posts most of my life this is a shock. Wow. So far the NRA Policy looks best, But I'm going to look into the company Tom Perroni uses on Monday as I've been asked to include an investigator on my staff. If I do I'll have a fairly large contract for a year with a group that wants to investigate public employees so I have some decisions to make this week.
Or I could just continue teaching on post and say the hell with civilians.

Several guys I know that teach CCW have gotten pretty good deals from Lloyd's of London (or at least that's what they're telling me).

IIRC Jim Conway of NEshooters told me it costs him a couple hundrd a year for a mil. He said that amount is suggested. Seems you can make that back quick.

Lloyds, I'll call them. That is the 4th site I've been given. I got my Certified NRA Pistol Instructor Cert and Defense of the Home Cert so that helps with them. By Wednesday I'll have a policy of some kind.

The NRA policy is managed by Lockton Risk Services but the actual coverage is from Lloyd's of London. After a slight increase in price for two or three years, following 9/11, it's now down to $360/year ($350 + $10 processing fee). I just sent in my check a few days ago.

Yes, I was trying to do it online, but I'll fill the form out tomorrow and include my check. They will include Ft. Huachuca and Ft. Hood as places I can instruct.

When I first went with the NRA/Lockton program in 2000, they assured me that I was covered wherever I taught, whatever I taught. (The prior NRA insurance administrator, in the rare case you had a claim, would demand that you show them on what page of the NRA manual you had been instructing at the time.)

I have just skimmed my latest policy and can see nothing that appears to limit in which venues I am covered, so long as I am not violating any law by teaching there.

some ranges require that they be mentioned. The Fort actually hasn't mentioned it but I'm going to include them as that will be where I do most of my teaching.

I chose the NRA Policy and it came in. Ft. Huachuca and TRC are the clubs specifically mentioned. But, since i was picked up by a sponsering unit I didn't need to include the Fort. However that will allow me to teach CCW at the Rec Center so it turned out to be a good thing.
